Fernie Favela Dies in Accident on Missouri Avenue near 10 Freeway [El Paso, TX]

Fernie Favela Identified in Fatal Car Accident in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (November 14, 2022) – Police identified 22-year-old Fernie Anthony Favela of El Paso as the victim who died in an accident in 600 block of East Missouri Avenue on November 7.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near 10 Freeway. Based on a report, the victim’s vehicle had exited the freeway at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle as he attempted to overcorrect his steering. Subsequently, he struck a guardrail, causing his vehicle to spin. The impact ejected Favela from the vehicle.
 
As a result, the victim suffered head trauma. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
