One Killed in Crash on Old Highway 58 and Ramirez Road

 
BARSTOW, CA (February 18, 2025) – One person died following a two-car crash on Old Highway 58 and Ramirez Road on Friday afternoon, February 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 2:36 p.m.
 
What led to the crash remains unclear but police said it was between a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a white sedan, possibly a Toyota Carmy. Witnesses, however, reported that the pickup truck was seen speeding before the incident occurred.
 
The driver of the Chevrolet succumbed to his injuries at the scene, police said.
 
Investigation into the incident remains open and active.
