One Person Killed in Bakersfield Hit-and-Run on Stockdale Highway

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 13, 2022) – A man died following a hit-and-run involving three drivers on Stockdale Highway early Sunday morning, December 4.

Authorities responded to a report of a hit-and-run around 2:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Stockdale Highway near North Stine Road.

Initial investigation revealed that three vehicles were involved in the fatal accident: a 2000 white four-door with severe front-end damage, a gray Toyota Tundra truck, and a red sedan.

Responding officers arrived at the scene and located the deceased victim. However, details about how the victim died is unknown at this time.

It remains unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash. In addition, speed did not seem to be a factor.
