Fatal Accident on East Jefferson Street [Grand Prairie, TX]

One Killed in Solo Accident on East Jefferson Street in Grand Prairie

 
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (June 25, 2024) – The Grand Prairie Police Department confirmed that one person died in an accident in the 4400 block of East Jefferson Street on June 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 6:45 PM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a Scion passenger car east on East Jefferson Street at the time of the crash.
 
For unknown reasons, the driver lost control and the car hit a cement bridge cap.
 
As a result, the driver suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Two passengers were taken to a hospital in serious condition.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
