Fabian Villa Killed, Francisco Ramos Jr. and Alfredo Rios Arrested after Las Vegas Accident

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 9, 2024) — A 33-year-old man identified as Fabian Villa died after a three-vehicle accident on Monday, September 2.
 
According to Las Vegas Metro police, the accident happened at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Searles Avenue just after 1:00 a.m.
 
Las Vegas Metro police said a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Villa traveled west on Searles Avenue. Then it turned south on Eastern Avenue. After that, a Ram 2500 and GMC Sierra moving at a high rate of speed south on Eastern Avenue struck the Chevrolet.
 
Initially, the Ram driven by 18-year-old Francisco Ruiz Ramos Jr. struck the front passenger side of the Chevrolet. The impact caused the Ram to roll over and struck a power utility pole. After that, the front of the GMC driven by 18-year-old Alfredo Chavez Rios struck the back of the Chevrolet.
 
Emergency responders pronounced Villa dead. Meanwhile, they transported Ramos to the hospital. Rios remained on the scene and showed no signs of impairment. He suffered minor injuries in the crash.
 
According to LVMPD, officers arrested Ramos and Rios. Both of them face charges of reckless driving resulting in death.
