Fabian Navarro Killed after Three-Vehicle Accident on Yukon Road

 
ODESSA, TX (September 19, 2024) — 17-year-old Fabian Navarro, of Odessa, died in a three-vehicle accident on Wednesday, September 11.
 
According to the Odessa Police Department, the crash happened at around 5:28 pm at the intersection of Yukon Road and Andrews Highway.
 
The initial investigation determined a gray 2007 Pontiac traveled west on Yukon Road. At the same time, a white 2017 Ford F-350 moved east on Yukon.
 
Then the driver of the Pontiac, a juvenile, failed to yield right-of-way. The vehicle subsequently turned south in front of the F-350, resulting in the crash. The collision also hit a gray 2019 Honda merging onto Yukon from Andrews Highway.
 
Navarro, who was a passenger in the Pontiac, died at the scene.
 
Paramedics brought the driver of the Pontiac and the driver of the F-350 to Medical Center Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Honda was not injured.
 
Officials continue to investigate this crash.
