Eric Carmona Dead after Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Murrieta

 
MURRIETA, CA (June 12, 2023) — A motorcyclist identified as 30-year-old Eric Carmona died in a car crash on Thursday, June 1.
 
According to Murrieta police, the incident took place at the intersection of Winchester Road and Frontage Road at around 4:08 a.m.
 
The initial investigation determined that Carmona rode his motorcycle south on Winchester Road when he failed to yield to the intersection’s traffic signal. After that, he collided with a compact car driven by a 19-year-old driving east through the intersection on a green light.
 
When paramedics arrived at the scene, they discovered Carmona unconscious with life-threatening injuries. They transported him to a hospital. However, emergency room physicians pronounced him dead.
 
Carmona was a Miami Dolphins superfan and the founder of TuAnon, a community that unites fans and celebrates the Dolphins. Support poured into a GoFundMe page created to help his wife, Vanessa, and four children.
 
As of writing, 1500 people have raised more than $77,000 in donations for Carmona’s family. Among those who donated are Dolphins fans and players. Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill made a $7,000 donation and Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa also added a $10,000 donation.
