Kyris McGraw, Eddric Mickle Identified in Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash in Graham
GRAHAM, TX (March 5, 2024) – Officials identified 51-year-old Eddric Laquinn Mickle of Seguin and 46-year old Kyris Deshone McGraw of Everman who died in a crash on Elm Street on February 24.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 1st Street around 1:18 AM. Based on a report, Mickle was driving a vehicle south on Elm Street with McGraw as his passenger.
Due to unknown reasons, he reached speeds of around 70 mph on city streets and when a Young County Deputy attempted a traffic stop, he continued and his car flew up into the air around the intersection. Mickle then lost control of his car, which skidded on its side and struck a tree on the passenger side.
As a result, McGraw sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Mickle was not wearing a seatbelt and also suffered serious injuries. Crews transported him to Graham Regional Hospital, where he later died.
The Young County Sheriff’s Office found narcotics and a firearm in the victims’ vehicle.
As of now, the officers are investigating the crash. In addition, no other details are available.
