Dylan Bartlett Killed in Peoria Skateboard Accident on 73rd Drive and Terramar Boulevard

 
PEORIA, AZ (December 3, 2024) — A 20-year-old man, Dylan Bartlett of Peoria, died in a skateboard accident on Friday, November 15.
 
According to Peoria Police, the incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on 73rd Drive and Terramar Boulevard, just northwest of 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road.
 
Peoria police said Bartlett, who was on his skateboard, did not stop while crossing the intersection. Then a Dodge Ram pickup driver traveling south on Terramar Boulevard hit him.
 
Responding officers and paramedics arrived at the scene. Then they brought Bartlett to a hospital, where he later died.
 
Police said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
 
Authorities closed the road for around five hours.
 
The crash is still under investigation.
