Dustin Dorcz Killed in Houston Hit-and-Run on 10 Freeway

 
HOUSTON, TX (September 26, 2024) — A 35-year-old Lufkin man identified as Dustin Dorcz died in a hit-and-run on Sunday, September 15.
 
According to the Houston Police, the fatal accident occurred in the 700 block of 10 Freeway near Gellhorn Drive early Sunday.
 
A witness said Dorcz walked eastbound on the shoulder of the freeway. Then, a vehicle of unknown make and model struck him. The driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
 
Dorcz sustained fatal injuries and died following the hit-and-run.
 
The victim’s wife, Lindsey, said they were in Houston celebrating their fifth anniversary as well as Dustin’s upcoming birthday. Lindsey said she was not with her husband when the incident happened.
