Dominique Easter Identified in Fatal Hit-and-Run on Northeast Andresen Road in Vancouver

 
VANCOUVER, WA (October 5, 2022) – Police identified Dominique Easter as the victim who died in a hit-and-run in the 4300 block of Northeast Andresen Road on October 2.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened around 6:51 PM.
 
Based on a report, a silver Subaru struck Easter in the lanes. A 911 caller said the vehicle continued driving south before turning west onto Northeast 40th Street.
 
As a result, police and medical personnel arrived and found Easter, lying unresponsive in the northbound bike lane. They transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
Vancouver police later arrested the driver of the Subaro, 18-year-old Jose C. Montoya Sanchez on suspicion of vehicular assault, hit-and-run resulting in injury and a gross misdemeanor of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
 
As of now, an investigation is ongoing.
