Dillon Donahoe Killed, Katherine Lewallen Injured, 75-Year-Old James Armstrong Arrested for DUI after Crash in Grandview

 
GRANDVIEW, TX (November 28, 2022) – Police identified 35-year-old Dillon Donahoe of Cleburne as the victim who died in a crash on 35 Freeway on November 19.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in the southbound lanes at FM 2258 shortly before 2:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, James Armstrong was behind the wheel of a 2015 Jeep Patriot heading southbound on the freeway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he struck Donahoe’s 2022 Ram 1500 from behind. This caused the Ram to roll over and crash into the concrete pillar of an overpass.
 
As a result, Donahoe was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The passenger, 28-year-old Katherine Lewallen, was airlifted to JPS Hospital in stable condition.
 
Crews took Armstrong to JPS Hospital before police arrested on charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
