Diana Martinez Dead after San Antonio Car Accident on Loop 410
SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 19, 2024) — A 37-year-old woman, Diana Martinez, died in a car accident on Thursday, December 5.
According to the San Antonio police, the crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. on the Loop 410 access road, just north of Marbach Road.
San Antonio police said that Martinez was in a minivan on her way to pick up her two teenage children from work at a fast-food restaurant. She had just turned onto the access road from Waters Edge Drive when two Ford Mustangs hit her vehicle.
Martinez died following the incident. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office determined she died from blunt force injuries.
Authorities said both Ford drivers remained at the scene following the crash and cooperated with officers. In addition, they said it did not appear either of them was under the influence.
As of writing, police said the drivers of the Ford vehicles are not facing any charges.
Police continue to investigate the events that led to the crash and what caused it.
