CARSON, CA (February 20, 2025) – A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy sustained injuries following a Central Avenue and Dimondale Drive on Sunday night, February 16.

The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m., according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials stated that a patrol vehicle being driven by a male deputy had been responding to a call for service.

For reasons still undetermined, a vehicle slammed into the patrol vehicle at the intersection.

The accident left the stricken deputy with non-life-threatening injuries, prompting fellow deputies to transport him to a hospital for treatment.
