Dean Grauman Identified in Fatal Accident on Haning Street in Howe
HOWE, TX (July 25, 2024) – Police identified 55-year-old Dean Grauman of Trenton who died in an accident on Haning Street on July 2.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Bean Street shortly after 5:00 AM. Based on a report, Grauman was standing in the roadway on Haning Street securing a load of tree branches into the bed of his pickup truck.
Due to unknown reasons, another pickup struck Grauman’s trailer before hitting him and his truck.
As a result, Grauman suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the other pickup,63-year-old Helen Landry of Howe, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Landry was not impaired and speed was not a factor in the crash.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
