TUCSON, AZ (March 21, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department identified 69-year-old David Vance Selix who died in a hit-and-run on 22nd Street on March 10.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 2nd Avenue around 2:30 AM. Based on a report, Selix was standing near the intersection at the time of the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit him and fled the scene.
 
As a result, he suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
TPD asks anyone with information to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
