Daniel Mansel Dead in Waco Hit-and-Run
WACO, TX (March 6, 2025) — Authorities identified 45-year-old Daniel Mansel as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run on Monday, February 24.
According to the Waco Police Department, the accident occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. at the 2600 block of Marlin Highway. They confirmed officers responded to the scene after drivers reported finding an unresponsive man on the roadway.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel found Mansel, who they pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators determined that an unknown vehicle struck Mansel. However, the driver did not stop to provide aid and left the area before authorities arrived.
At this time, police have not released any details regarding the suspect vehicle or potential witnesses. Officials ask the public for assistance in locating the driver involved.
