Hannah Jacks and Daniel Jacks Jr. Die, Two Others Injured in Moreno Valley Head-On Crash

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (November 18, 2022) – Daniel Jacks Jr. and Hannah Jacks died while two others suffered injuries following a head-on crash on Gilman Springs Road last Sunday evening, November 13.

California Highway Patrol received a report of the fatal accident approximately at 8:57 p.m. at Bridge Street. Initial investigation revealed that Scott Bales drove his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck westbound on Gilman Springs Road before crossing over the highway into oncoming traffic.

After that, he struck the Honda Insight that Jacks Jr. was driving westbound on Gilman Springs Road. Hannah, his daughter, was in the front passenger seat, police said.

The accident killed the father and daughter. They both died at the scene, according to police.

Bales and his passenger sustained harm and were taken to a hospital, Riverside County Fire Department reported.

Authorities’ investigation found out that Bales was driving under the influence of alcohol when the fatal accident happened.
