Motorcyclist Daniel Farrar Identified in Fatal Accident on North Freeway in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (January 27, 2025) – Houston Police identified 49-year-old Daniel Farrar who died in a motorcycle accident in the 12500 North Freeway on January 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 6:25 PM. Based on a report, Farrar was riding a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle at a high rate of speed before the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he hit a gray Tesla from behind. The impact ejected him and his female passenger from the bike. The Tesla swerved and stopped partially on the left shoulder of the freeway.
 
As a result, Farrar suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
His 46-year-old female passenger was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
 
The driver of the Tesla remained at the scene. Authorities did not suspect intoxication as a factor.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
