PHOENIX, AZ (November 6, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that a child suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on 36th Street on October 15.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at McDowell Road around 9:00 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the child and an adult.
 
As a result, the victim suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews with the Phoenix Fire Department transported them to the hospital in stable condition.
 
It was not clear if impairment or speed played a factor in this crash. Police did not release any additional information at this time.
