Charles Bowden Id’d in Fatal Crash on Highway 158 at County Road 1140 in Midland
MIDLAND, TX (September 16, 2022) – Police identified Charles Bowden as the victim who died in a crash with a semi-truck on Highway 158 on September 15.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 6:30 AM.
Based on a report, 41-year-old Bowden was traveling westbound on the highway behind a freight liner towing a trailer. As the truck slowed down to turn onto South County Road 1140, he ran into its rear part.
As a result, Bowden was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the incident.
As of now, the crash is still under investigation and no further information is available. However an update will be provided when available.
