MIDLAND, TX (September 16, 2022) – Police identified Charles Bowden as the victim who died in a crash with a semi-truck on Highway 158 on September 15.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 6:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, 41-year-old Bowden was traveling westbound on the highway behind a freight liner towing a trailer. As the truck slowed down to turn onto South County Road 1140, he ran into its rear part.
 
As a result, Bowden was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the incident.
