Trucker Cesar Manso Identified in Fatal Accident on Highway 153 in Nolan County
NOLAN COUNTY, TX (February 14, 2025) – Authorities identified 25-year-old Cesar Josevan Espinosa Manso of Houston who died in an accident on Highway 153 on February 6.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened roughly 300 feet southeast of County Road 196 around 8:15 AM. Based on a report, Manso was driving a 2017 Peterbilt truck towing a semi-trailer at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, he failed to control his speed and crashed into the rear of a towed vehicle attached to a 2020 Kenworth dump truck. The impact caused his truck to overturn into a ditch and jackknife in the middle of the highway.
As a result, Manso suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, 60-year-old Todd Gregory Bollinger of Roscoe, was not hurt.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
