Celestino Reina, Celia Reina, Maria Reina, 7-Year-Old Dariul Rodriguez Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 19 in Hopkins County

 
HOPKINS COUNTY, TX (December 7, 2022) – 60-year-old Celestino Reina, 60-year-old Celia Reina, 22-year-old Maria Reina, and 7-year-old Dariul Rodriguez died in a crash on Highway 19 on December 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Country Road 4764 around 5:44 PM.
 
Based on a report, 60-year-old Gerald Lee Adams of Paris was headed north in a Ford E Series van. Then, Adams failed to control his speed and struck a first Toyota Avalon, pushing it into the southbound lane.
 
After that, it collided with two a Cadillac Escalade and a Kia Soul. Adams’ Ford continued moving forward and also struck another Avalon.
 
As a result, the four people in the first Avalon died at the scene.
 
Occupants of the Cadillac namely 47-year-old Brian Feiden, 51-year-old Elizabeth Feiden, 23-year-old Randal Adams, 17-year-old Cole Feiden, and 23-year-old Gwenyth Feiden had non-incapacitating injuries.
 
69-year-old Terry Williams and 53-year-old Debbie Dixson-Williams of the Kia Soul as well as 69-year-old Rebecca Goodson and 72-year-old Joyce Moore of the other Avalon also had non-incapacitating injuries. Adams was not hurt.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation.
