OAKLAND, CA (March 3, 2025) – Two people were injured after a suspect fled the authorities in a crash on 85th Avenue on Tuesday morning, February 25.
 
According to the Oakland Police Department, the incident happened around 11:00 a.m. on the 500 block of 85th Avenue.
 
Reports indicated that police received reports of two people unresponsive inside a vehicle. Authorities located the vehicle and learned that it had stolen plates.
 
As they tried to arrest the driver, the latter resisted and crashed into a marked police patrol car before fleeing the scene.
 
Two police officers suffered injuries from the incident.
