One Dies after Citrus Heights Motorcycle Crash on Auburn Boulevard

 
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (October 18, 2022) — A person died following a motorcycle crash on Auburn Boulevard on Friday night, October 14.

The fatal incident happened in the 8100 block of the said boulevard, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department which received calls of alert at around 8:00 p.m.

Officers discovered a motorcyclist laying down on the road, prompting them to perform life-saving measures.

However, the motorcycle rider died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of a vehicle involved in the collision did not flee the scene and opted to cooperate with the investigators.

The details leading up to the crash, along with the circumstances behind it, remain unavailable at this time.

For preliminary measures and cleanup, officials closed off Auburn Boulevard near Rollingwood Boulevard for about five hours.
