Brent Pyatt and Emma Pyatt Die after Falcon Car Accident on Highway 24

 
FALCON, CO (July 29, 2024) — 41-year-old Brent Pyatt and his 12-year-old daughter, Emma Joy Pratt, died in an accident on Wednesday, July 10.
 
According to Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened along Highway 24 near Judge Orr Road and Stapleton Road at around 10:20 p.m.
 
CSP troopers said the Pyatt family was on their way home from church on Highway 24. Then a pick-up truck swerved into their lane, resulting in a head-on collision.
 
Brent and his daughter Emma died in the accident. Meanwhile, 10-year-old Myles Pyatt suffered serious injuries. Paramedics brought him to the hospital where he spent his 10th birthday in serious condition.
 
As of today, Myles has been released but remains in a wheelchair after he underwent surgery. His mother, Wendy Pyatt, supports him on his long road to recovery.
 
A loved one made a GoFundMe account to help the family with funeral and medical expenses. In addition, the community organized a benefit concert in honor of Brent and Emma.
