Brandon Macomber Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 176 at FM 1212 in Martin County
MARTIN COUNTY, TX (February 21, 2025) – Authorities identified 39-year-old Brandon Macomber of Granbury who died in a crash on Highway 176 on February 13.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at FM 1212 around 1:45 PM. Based on a report, Macomber was a passenger in a Toyota Camry traveling westbound on the highway before the crash.
At the same time, 45-year-old Christopher Tranovich of Ohio was traveling eastbound. Due to unknown reasons, Tranovich failed to yield the right of way to the Camry.
As a result, Macombe suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
The Camry driver, 28-year-old Jacob Hogan of Stephenville, was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. Tranovich received treatment for minor injuries.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
