Ramell Jenkins, Misty Green, and Brandon Compton Identified in Antioch Car Accident

 
ANTIOCH, CA (May 19, 2023) — Two men and one woman died when their speeding car crashed into another vehicle and then a tree on Lone Tree Way on Monday, May 15th.
 
Family members identified 45-year-old Ramell Jenkins who died in the crash. They also identified the female victim as Jenkins’ wife, 46-year-old Misty Green. Both of them were from Antioch.
 
Authorities confirmed those identities and said 28-year-old Brandon Compton, also of Antioch, was the third person who died. Compton was driving the vehicle, according to authorities.
 
According to Antioch police, the accident happened in the 4100 block of Lone Tree Way, just in front of an Arco gas station and package store. Two vehicles were speeding east on Lone Tree Way about 10:25 p.m., when the car Compton drove clipped the other vehicle, lost control and crashed into a tree.
 
Compton, Green, and Jenkins were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
 
The driver of the other vehicle wasn’t injured, according to police. That driver was not arrested.
