RENO, NV (November 6, 2024) – The Reno Police Department confirmed that a boy suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Sapphire Ridge Way on October 18.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at West 7th Street shortly before 8:00 AM. Based on a report, the victim is a student of McQueen High School.
 
Police said the high school-aged boy suffered minor injuries in the crash.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
 
After initial investigation, police did not suspect impairment as a factor in the incident.
