Passenger Billie Miller Dies after Solo Vehicle Crash on FM 677

 
SAINT JO, TX (February 8, 2024) — A woman identified as 65-year-old Billie Faye Miller, Ringold, died in a solo car crash on Sunday, February 3.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on FM 677 at around 4:00 a.m.
 
Texas DPS said a 2016 Buick Enclave traveled on FM-677, south of Saint Jo, around a sharp curve. Then it went straight through the curve off the roadway. After that, it continued through a barbed-wire fence and lastly, crashed into a tree.
 
Miller, who was a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed the driver to Nocona General Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
 
The accident report said that the roads were wet at the time of the incident. In addition, they said that neither the driver nor the passenger wore a seatbelt when the incident happened.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
