AUSTIN, TX (February 15, 2025) — Beth Wynne sustained fatal injuries following a hit-and-run on Friday, January 31.
 
According to the Austin Police Department, the incident occurred in the 13000 block of Pond Springs Road at about 2:44 a.m.
 
Austin Police said a vehicle struck Wynne. Then it fled the scene after hitting Wynne.
 
Paramedics arrived and then transported Wyne to a local hospital. Medical officials later pronounced her dead on February 1.
 
The Austin Police Department continues to investigate the incident. They urge anyone with information to contact APD at 512-974-8111.
 
This incident marks Austin’s fifth fatal crash of 2025.
