Ashley Grueschow Involved in Fatal DUI Accident on Highway 174 in Hill County

 
HILL COUNTY, TX (November 26, 2023) – Officers arrested 35-year-old Ashley Grueschow of Tolar after a fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 174 on November 14.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Blum. Based on a report, Grueschow was driving a Ford Edge westbound on Highway 174 at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she entered the wrong side of the road and collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling east.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist sustained grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews airlifted the victim to Texas Health Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, where he later died. Officials did not yet release his identity, pending kin notification.
 
Officers arrested and booked Grueschow into the Hill County Jail on a charge of intoxication manslaughter. Her bond was set at $750,000.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
