Antraniq Tauanuu Killed in Crash on Durango Drive near Elkhorn Road [Las Vegas, NV]

19-Year-Old Antraniq Tauanuu Identified in High-Speed Rollover Crash in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 28, 2023) – The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified 19-year-old Antraniq Tauanuu of Las Vegas as the victim who died in a high-speed crash on Durango Drive on April 20.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened between Elkhorn Road and Oso Blanca Road around 1:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving a Toyota Sequoia at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle, hit a pole, and rolled several times.
 
As a result, Tauanuu suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
A 21-year-old female passenger was transported to University Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
