Bicyclist Anny Mujica-Moreno Identified in Fatal Las Vegas Accident

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 5, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police identified 34-year-old Anny Mujica-Moreno who died in a bicycle accident on Tropicana Avenue on September 15.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Maryland Parkway shortly after 11:30 PM. Based on a report, Mujica-Moreno was driving a bicycle southbound on Wilbur Street.
 
At the same time, 66-year-old Juan Dominguez was driving a Volkswagen Atlas eastbound on Tropicana Avenue. Due to unknown reasons, Mujica-Moreno crossed the path of a Volkswagen, causing the vehicle to hit her.
 
As a result, Mujica-Moreno suffered grave injuries in the crash. Crews took her to the hospital, where she later died.
 
Police arrested Dominguez for DUI-related charges.
