Angela Nuckols Identified in Fatal Shooting in Round Rock

 
ROUND ROCK, TX (November 30, 2022) Round Rock police identified 58-year-old Angela Nuckols of Pflugerville as the suspect who was shot and killed by a trooper on Old Settlers Boulevard on November 25.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near 35 Freeway. Based on a report, officers had attempted to stop a stolen gray Nissan Altima two times but Nuckols kept driving.
 
Subsequently, she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a black passenger car on Old Settlers. Then, police said Nuckols reportedly got out of the vehicle with a firearm and the trooper discharged his weapon.
 
As a result, Nuckols was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Court records show Nuckols had a warrant for her arrest for unauthorized use of a vehicle. She also had various drug and theft charges dating back over a decade.
