Andrew Worley Dead After Phoenix Hit-and-Run

 
PHOENIX, AZ (January 31, 2025) — 38-year-old Andrew Worley died after a hit-and-run on Tuesday, January 21.
 
According to Phoenix police, the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. near 48th Street and Broadway Road.
 
Phoenix police said Worley was crossing Broadway Road. Then an eastbound vehicle struck him. However, the driver did not stop and fled the scene.
 
Emergency responders arrived and found Worley with serious injuries. Then they tried to transport him to a hospital, and he died on the way.
 
Authorities closed Broadway Road between 44th Street and 48th Street for several hours during the on-scene investigation. They reopened the roadway around 6:40 a.m.
 
As of writing, they have not released a description of the suspect vehicle.
 
The Phoenix Police Department continues to investigate the case.
