Motorcyclist Andrew Martinez Identified in Fatal Tucson Accident

 
TUCSON, AZ (December 1, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department identified 22-year-old Andrew Martinez who died in a motorcycle accident on Broadway Boulevard on November 8.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Wilmot Road. Based on a report, Martinez was traveling on a motorcycle eastbound on Broadway Boulevard at the time of the crash.
 
He was going toward the Wilmot Road intersection when he struck an SUV that was making a left turn into a parking lot.
 
As a result, Martinez suffered grave injuries in the incident. Tucson Fire personnel responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Crews took the SUV’s driver to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
