Amer Ibrahim Identified in Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash on 19th Avenue in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (August 6, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department identified 52-year-old Amer Ibrahim who died in a multi-vehicle crash on 19th Avenue on July 20.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Bethany Home Road around 9:15 PM. Based on a report, Ibrahim was driving a vehicle east on Bethany Home Road before the crash.
 
At the same, one vehicle traveling west on Bethany Home Road crashed into another vehicle turning from 19th Avenue. Subsequently, the vehicles caused a second crash with Ibrahim.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
The Phoenix Fire Department said another driver suffered critical injuries while an adult from the crash had non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Officials do not believe impairment and speed were factors in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
