NEW BOSTON, TX (January 16, 2024) – Police identified 44-year-old Alisha McCuller Parker of New Boston who died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 8 on December 31.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 10:30 AM. Based on a report, the victim was crossing the road at the time of the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a 53-year-old woman hit her with a 2023 Chevy Trax SUV.
 
As a result, Parker suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Officials say the driver was wearing her seatbelt and was not injured in the crash.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. However, no other details are available.
