Alexander Krupa Injured after Hit-and-Run Accident on 15th Street and Market Street

 
DENVER, CO (February 13, 2024) — Alexander Krupa sustained several injuries, including a skull fracture, in a hit-and-run crash last month.
 
The accident took place at the intersection of 15th Street and Market Street just before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 6.
 
According to Brittany Kim, the incident happened when her husband, Alexander Krupa, walked her to work. She said a reckless car traveling at an accelerated speed struck Krupa and fled the scene.
 
Paramedics transported Krupa to Denver Health where he spent several days in the ICU and PCU. He suffered a fractured skull, fractured ribs, a TBI, and two separate brain bleeds.
 
As of writing, Krupa is still in recovery and Kim is now his full-time caregiver. Kim created a GoFundMe to help them with the expenses.
 
Police continue to search for the suspect vehicle. They described it as a newer model white Chevy Tahoe with unclear license plates, dark rims, and covered taillights.
