Abdel Pastor Dead, Sonja Marinkovic Arrested after Kyle DUI Accident

 
KYLE, TX (February 16, 2024) — A woman identified as 45-year-old Abdel Pastor died in a DUI crash on Friday, February 2.
 
According to the Kyle Police, the crash happened at the intersection of on Interstate 35 Frontage Road and Kohlers Crossing around midnight.
 
Kyle Police said 45-year-old Sonja Marinkovic drove under the influence when she crashed into another vehicle.
 
When police arrived at the scene of the accident, they found that she drove her Mazda SUV at high speeds in wet conditions. Then she crashed into the rear of a red Chevrolet driven by Pastor.
 
Paramedics rushed Pastor to Ascension Seton Hays Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced him dead.
 
Authorities said that Marinkovic showed multiple signs of being intoxicated. They brought her to the hospital for a blood test evaluation. They charged her with Intoxication Manslaughter.
