Abagail Moreno Killed in Phoenix Car Accident on 35th Avenue and Grovers Avenue

 
PHOENIX, AZ (September 25, 2024) — A 48-year-old woman identified as Abagail Lopez Moreno died in an accident on Tuesday, September 17.
 
According to the Phoenix police, the accident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. at 35th Avenue and Grovers Avenue.
 
Phoenix police said the initial investigation determined that the vehicle in which Lopez Moreno was a passenger traveled northbound on 35th Avenue. Then it made a left turn onto Grovers Avenue. After that, a second vehicle struck them.
 
Officers discovered Moreno with serious injuries in the crash. Paramedics then brought her to the hospital, where she later died.
 
All involved vehicles stayed at the scene as detectives investigated.
 
As of writing, there were no charges filed in this crash. Police said impairment was not a factor.
 
Authorities said the investigation is still active.
