8-Year-Old Kaden Rainwater Struck and Killed by Suspected DUI Driver Miguel Martinez in Dallas

 
DALLAS, TX (October 12, 2022) – Police confirmed the death of 8-year-old Kaden Rainwater following a suspected DUI accident in the 3600 block of Dilido Road on October 10.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 7:10 PM.
 
Based on a report, the boy was riding a scooter prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the boy suffered severe injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to a local hospital, where he later died.
 
The driver of the vehicle, 30-year-old Miguel Martinez remained at the scene. Police arrested and charged him with Murder and DWI of 2 or More Previous Convictions.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
