8-Year-Old Girl Struck and Injured by Vehicle on Storm King in Schertz

 
SCHERTZ, TX (September 4, 2024) – The Schertz Police Department confirmed that an 8-year-old girl suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Storm King on August 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Black Butte at approximately 3:00 PM. Based on a report, a Schertz Cibolo Universal City ISD school bus hit the girl.
 
As a result, the girl was hurt in the incident. Officers said the victim attends Sippel Elementary School. Emergency crews took her to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Authorities are working with the district’s transportation services to see how this incident occurred.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
