SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX (October 25, 2022) – Police confirmed that a 75-year-old woman died in a pedestrian accident on Farm-to-Market 71 on September 30.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened in front of the North Hopkins ISD at approximately 3:13 PM.
 
Based on a report, County 911 dispatchers received two emergency calls about the incident. Deputies, park officers and a school officer responded and found the pedestrian down on the road. Police said a vehicle struck the victim after she fell out of a car.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Her name is being withheld pending notification of her family.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
