RIMROCK, AZ (September 9, 2024) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 74-year-old woman died in a crash on Beaver Creek Road on August 29.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Stevenson Drive around 11:30 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a white Volkswagen Passat at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she crossed the center line and collided with a silver Toyota RAV4 head-on.
 
As a result, the woman suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not release her name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the Toyota was not hurt.
 
It’s unclear if the Passat driver experienced a medical condition before hitting the Toyota.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
