SUN CITY, AZ (November 21, 2023) – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office identified 71-year-old Claudia Farkas who died in a bicycle accident on 99th Avenue on November 11.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Olive Avenue around 9:15 AM. Based on a report, Farkas was riding her bicycle near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, Farkas suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The vehicle’s driver stayed on the scene following the crash.
