TEMPLE, TX (August 6, 2024) – The Temple Police Department identified 71-year-old Christopher Norcross of Killeen who died in a pedestrian accident on 31st Street on July 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at University Avenue around 10:04 AM. Based on a report, an SUV hit Norcross while turning at a stop light.
 
As a result, the victim suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews took him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and cooperated with the police.
