70-Year-Old Pamela Pepperell Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on North Braeswood Boulevard at Stella Link Road in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (March 4, 2025) – The Houston Police Department identified 70-year-old Pamela Pepperell who died in a hit-and-run on North Braeswood Boulevard on February 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Stella Link Road around 6:30 PM. Based on a report, the victim was walking someone’s dog at the time.
 
She was crossing North Braeswood Boulevard when an SUV hit her. The driver did not stop and render aid.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. She was a retired midwife and Baylor College of Medicine nurse.
 
Police have yet to identify the hit-and-run driver. They ask anyone with information about the crash or driver to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
