Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted in Longmont Accident on 14th Avenue

 
LONGMONT, CO (October 19, 2023) – Police confirmed that a 5-year-old bicyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run accident on 14th Avenue on October 7.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Frontier Street around 3:36 PM. Based on a report, the boy was riding his bicycle out of an alley at the intersection prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a vehicle was traveling westbound on 14th Avenue. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle hit the boy and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the boy suffered injuries in the incident. Crews transported him to the hospital for treatment.
 
Police described the suspect vehicle as a newer model black Ford F-150 dual cab with chrome or silver bumpers. They added that the suspect was a light-skinned Hispanic male wearing a ball cap.
